(S) -Lercanidipine hydrochloride
(S) -Lercanidipine hydrochloride is the pharmacologically active S-enantiomer of the dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker lercanidipine. This potent and selective L-type calcium channel antagonist is used in cardiovascular research, particularly in studies of hypertension and vascular smooth muscle contraction, both in vitro and in vivo.
