Terbuthylazine is a triazine-class ALS inhibitor herbicide used in agricultural and environmental toxicity research. It is employed in in vitro and in vivo studies to investigate its toxicological effects, including aquatic toxicity, disruption of gut microbiota, and damage to the intestinal barrier and mitochondrial function.
