Diacetazotol (Diacetotoluide) is a potent inhibitor of dioxin-induced ethoxyresorufin-O-deethylase (EROD) activity, exhibiting an IC50 of 75±4 nM. This small molecule is a valuable research tool for studying the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) pathway and cytochrome P450 1A1 induction in both in vitro and in vivo models of dioxin toxicity.
