JWG-071
JWG-071 is the first reported chemical probe demonstrating selectivity for ERK5 kinase. It functions as a BET-selective inhibitor with a 1 μM IC50 for BRD4, paradoxically enhancing ERK5 activity. This probe is used in vitro to study kinase signaling crosstalk and BET bromodomain biology in cancer research.
