Nebicapone
Nebicapone is a reversible, peripherally-acting COMT inhibitor that undergoes glucuronidation. It enhances L-DOPA therapy for Parkinson's disease by blocking its conversion to 3-O-methyl-DOPA, as demonstrated in preclinical in vitro and in vivo pharmacological studies.
