Diuron
Diuron is a benzoylurea herbicide that acts by inhibiting photosynthesis through disruption of ATP and NADH production. It is used in research to study herbicide mechanisms, oxidative stress via ROS induction, and as a promoting agent in chemical carcinogenesis models, such as DMBA/BBN-induced bladder cancer in vivo.
