APY0201 is a potent and selective ATP-competitive inhibitor of PIKfyve with an IC50 of 5.2 nM, blocking the synthesis of PtdIns (3,5) P2 from PtdIns3P. It is a valuable research tool for studying lysosomal biology, autophagy, and cellular trafficking in both in vitro and in vivo models.
