DIDS

DIDS is a small molecule inhibitor of anion exchangers, such as the chloride-bicarbonate exchanger, acting initially reversibly and then irreversibly. It also inhibits RAD51. This compound is used in vitro to study ion transport, cellular pH regulation, and DNA repair mechanisms.
