Licarin A
Licarin A is a naturally occurring lignan with demonstrated anti-inflammatory activity. It functions by inhibiting the PKCα/βII and p38 MAPK signaling pathways, which subsequently reduces TNF-α and prostaglandin D2 release as well as COX-2 expression. This compound is utilized in vitro for researching inflammation mechanisms in models such as macrophages.
