DM1-SMe (DM1-SSMe) is a highly potent maytansinoid microtubule inhibitor, demonstrating 3-10 times greater potency than Maytansine with IC50 values ranging from 0.003 to 0.01 nM in human tumor cell lines. This small molecule is a valuable research tool for investigating tubulin-targeting agents in both in vitro cytotoxicity assays and in vivo preclinical cancer models.
