BMY-14802 hydrochloride is a σ receptor antagonist (IC50 = 112 nM) with additional agonist activity at α1-adrenergic and 5-HT1A receptors. It has been investigated in preclinical in vivo studies for its potential antipsychotic properties and used in vitro to probe sigma receptor function.
