EC 144 is a potent second-generation Hsp90α inhibitor (IC50=1.1 nM) that induces Her-2 degradation in MCF-7 cells (EC50=14 nM), suppressing tumor growth. It is a valuable research tool for studying Hsp90 biology in oncology, applicable in both in vitro cellular assays and in vivo xenograft models for cancer therapeutics development.
