JP1302 is a potent and selective α2C adrenoceptor antagonist (Kb = 16 nM) with demonstrated antidepressant activity. It disrupts the FACT complex, leading to histone H1 degradation, and has been utilized in research models of neuropsychiatric disorders and renal injury.
