Ro 67-4853 is a selective positive allosteric modulator of metabotropic glutamate receptor 1 (mGluR1) . It potentiates agonist responses, such as to DHPG, and is used in neuroscience research to study mGluR1 function in both in vitro assays and in vivo models, including iontophoretic studies in anesthetized rats.
