TC-N 22A is a potent, selective, and brain-penetrant mGlu4 PAM with an EC50 of 9 nM for human mGlu4 and >10,000-fold selectivity over other mGlu subtypes. This tool compound is used in vitro and in vivo to investigate the role of mGlu4 in CNS disorders such as Parkinson's disease.
