UCD38B HCl is a cell-permeable small molecule inhibitor of intracellular urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA) . It induces programmed necrosis, effectively eliminating both proliferative and quiescent high-grade glioma cells in vitro. This mechanism supports its investigation in oncology research for targeting treatment-resistant tumor cell populations.
