Vesamicol
Vesamicol is a presynaptic inhibitor that blocks acetylcholine uptake into synaptic vesicles, thereby reducing its release. This small molecule is used in research to study cholinergic neurotransmission in models of neurodegenerative diseases and synaptic function in both in vitro and in vivo experiments.
