Aprikalim
Aprikalim (RP 52891) is a KATP channel opener shown to provide neuroprotection in a rabbit model of spinal cord ischemia. It also inhibits vasoconstriction and intracellular calcium elevation, making it a useful research tool for studying cardiovascular diseases, including ischemia-reperfusion injury, in both in vivo and in vitro experimental models.
