Lomitapide Mesylate (BMS-201038 mesylate) is the mesylate salt form of lomitapide, a potent and selective small-molecule inhibitor of microsomal triglyceride transfer protein (MTP) . It is widely used in biochemical research to investigate lipid metabolism, including in vitro enzyme assays and in vivo models of dyslipidemia and homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia.
