Levoprotiline

Levoprotiline is the R- (-) enantiomer of oxaprotiline and a successor to maprotiline, acting as a comparably effective antidepressant with a shorter onset latency. It is used in neuroscience research to study noradrenergic mechanisms in depression models, applicable in both in vitro binding assays and in vivo behavioral experiments.
