Lorajmine
Lorajmine is a class Ia antiarrhythmic prodrug, a monochloroacetyl derivative of ajmaline, which is rapidly converted to the active ajmaline by esterases. It is used in research to study sodium channel blockade and cardiac electrophysiology in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
