Manninotrionate
Manninotrionate is an antitumor compound that was conjugated to BSA to generate a rabbit antiserum. This antiserum did not agglutinate Ehrlich ascites tumor cells, which possess surface alpha-D-galactosyl glycoproteins. It is used in immunological research to study carbohydrate antigens and tumor cell surface interactions in vitro.
