Pralatrexate, (R) -
Pralatrexate is a folate analog antimetabolite that potently inhibits dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) via selective uptake by the reduced folate carrier-1 (RFC-1) and intracellular polyglutamylation. It is used in research for studying anticancer mechanisms, particularly in T-cell lymphomas, and has been evaluated in both in vitro cytotoxicity assays and in vivo xenograft models.
