Rioprostil
Rioprostil, a methyl analog of prostaglandin E1, inhibits gastric acid secretion while fortifying mucosal defense. It is used in research models of gastric ulceration and NSAID-induced gastropathy, and has been studied for mitigating cyclosporin A's effects on pancreatic function in vivo.
