SP-Chymostatin B is a broad-spectrum protease inhibitor, effectively targeting chymotrypsin, papain, chymases, and lysosomal cysteine proteinases at concentrations of 10-100 μM, with weaker activity against human leukocyte elastase. It is widely used in vitro to study proteolytic pathways in inflammation and cellular catabolism.
