AMG-221
AMG-221 is a potent and selective inhibitor of 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11β-HSD1) . In diet-induced obese mice, it reduced fed blood glucose, insulin levels, and body weight. This small molecule is a valuable research tool for studying metabolic disorders, including type 2 diabetes and obesity, in both in vitro and in vivo models.
