AR-H067637 is a potent, competitive thrombin inhibitor (K (i) = 2-4 nM) effective against both free and clot-bound thrombin. It inhibits thrombin generation in plasma (IC (50) 0.6 μM) and potently blocks thrombin-induced platelet activation and aggregation. This inhibitor is a valuable tool for studying thrombosis and hemostasis in biochemical, plasma-based, and cellular assays.
