CT-2584 is a small molecule anticancer agent that disrupts phospholipid metabolism, shifting biosynthesis from phosphatidylcholine to phosphatidylinositol via phosphatidic acid and generating reactive oxygen species to induce tumor cell death. It has demonstrated efficacy in reducing tumor growth in SCID mouse models and modulates targets like NKEF-B in various cancer cell lines in vitro.
