Fonsartan free acid
Fonsartan is a selective angiotensin II receptor antagonist. It effectively blocks the angiotensin II-mediated trophic responses, fibronectin release, and expression of the EIIIA+ fibronectin isoform in cultured rat aortic smooth muscle cells. This makes it a valuable research tool for studying cardiovascular remodeling, fibrosis, and related pathways in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
