MRS5698 is a potent and highly selective A3 adenosine receptor agonist (Ki ~3 nM) with over 1000-fold selectivity versus A1 and A2A receptors. It has demonstrated efficacy in preclinical models, showing protective effects against chronic neuropathic pain in vivo.
