Pradefovir
Pradefovir (Remofovir) is a liver-targeted prodrug of adefovir developed for chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) research. It is metabolically activated in the liver to the active reverse transcriptase inhibitor PMEA. This compound is utilized in both in vitro enzymatic studies and in vivo models of HBV infection to investigate targeted antiviral therapies.
