RYL-552 is a potent and selective small molecule inhibitor of Plasmodium falciparum NADH dehydrogenase 2 (PfNDH2) . It is a valuable chemical probe for studying mitochondrial function in malaria parasites and has shown inhibitory activity in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
