Upacicalcet
Upacicalcet (AJT-240) is a synthetic calcium mimetic and orthosteric calcium-sensing receptor modulator used in research. It directly suppresses parathyroid hormone (PTH) secretion and has demonstrated efficacy in rodent models of secondary hyperparathyroidism, reducing vascular calcification and bone disease.
