ZK110841 is a potent and selective agonist of the human prostaglandin DP receptor. In vitro, it induces a strong, dose-dependent increase in cyclic AMP levels, exceeding 100-fold over basal at 1 μM in EBTr cells, making it a valuable tool for studying prostanoid signaling in platelet and smooth muscle research.
