Coprine

Coprine is a mycotoxin responsible for the disulfiram-like alcohol intolerance known as Coprinus syndrome. This small molecule is used in biochemical research to study toxin metabolism and enzyme inhibition, particularly of aldehyde dehydrogenase, in both in vitro assays and in vivo models.
