Storage Conditions

The purified (UNLB) antibody is supplied as 0.2 mg of purified immunoglobulin in 0.5 mL (C = 0.4 mg/mL) of 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.2. No preservatives or amine-containing buffer salts added. Store at 2-8 °C. <br>The biotin (BIOT) conjugate is supplied as 0.2 mg in 0.5 mL (C = 0.4 mg/mL) of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2- 8 °C. <br>Reagents are stable for the period shown on the label if stored as directed.

Specificity

Reacts with conformational determinants on human type IV collagen as demonstrated by ELISA. May react with type IV collagen from other species. Exhibits <10% cross reactivity with collagen type I, II, III, V and VI. The antibody has not been tested for reactivity with other ECM proteins (e.g., laminin, fibronectin).
