Fenthiaprop-ethyl is a selective, post-emergent aryloxyphenoxypropionate herbicide. It is used in research to study its mechanism of action on acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase) in grasses and broad-leaved weeds, applicable in both in vitro enzyme assays and in vivo plant studies.
