GNE-3476 is a positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of the NMDA receptor, exhibiting differential activity across receptor subtypes with low efficacy at GluN2A, weak activity at GluN2B, and some AMPAR PAM activity. It is a research tool used in vitro to study synaptic plasticity, neuropharmacology, and the role of NMDA receptor subtypes in CNS function.
