Lonchocarpene
Lonchocarpene is a natural hypoglycemic agent isolated from Deguelia rufescens var. urucu. It is used in diabetes research to study glucose metabolism and has been investigated in both in vitro assays and in vivo models for its potential anti-diabetic effects.
