Fibroblast Growth Factor 8, Recombinant, Human (FGF8)

Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 °C. Reconstitute with 10mM Tris, pH 8.0, 75mM sodium chloride, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF-receptors is 0.5ng/ml, corresponding to a speci c activity of 2 x 10e6u/mg
