Oleic acid-2,6-diisopropylanilide is a potent ACAT inhibitor (IC50 = 7 nM) that modulates cholesterol metabolism. In vivo studies in diet-induced hyperlipidemic rabbits and rats show it lowers LDL and elevates HDL, supporting its research use in atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease models.
