Myristoyl Coenzyme A (hydrate)

Myristoyl-CoA is a key substrate for N-myristoyltransferase in protein myristoylation, a critical modification for protein localization and signaling. It is also utilized in the biosynthesis of phosphatidylinositol and is widely applied in both in vitro enzymatic assays and in vivo studies of lipid metabolism and apoptosis.
