Massarigenin C
Massarigenin C is a fungal metabolite with enzyme inhibitory activity. It acts as a neuraminidase inhibitor in vitro (IC50 = 4.15 μM) and a yeast α-glucosidase inhibitor (IC50 = 1.25 mM) . In vivo studies show it reduces postprandial blood glucose in mice, supporting research in diabetes and enzymology.
