Padanamide A
Padanamide A is a marine bacterial metabolite with potent antiplasmodial activity against P. falciparum strains. While non-cytotoxic to HEK293 and HepG2 cells, it exhibits selective cytotoxicity toward Jurkat T lymphocytes. This compound is a valuable research tool for studying antimalarial mechanisms and selective cell toxicity in vitro.
