Petromurin C is a bis-indolyl benzenoid fungal metabolite with cytotoxic activity against NS-1 mouse myeloma cells (IC50 = 33 μg/ml) and antitrichomonal activity against Tritrichomonas foetus in vitro (IC50 = 100 μg/ml) . This compound is a natural product of interest for research in parasitology and oncology.
