D-myo-Inositol-1,4,6-triphosphate (sodium salt)
D-myo-Inositol-1,4,6-phosphate (Ins (1,4,6) P3) is a soluble inositol phosphate second messenger involved in cellular signaling. Compared to the canonical Ins (1,4,5) P3, it exhibits significantly lower potency (9-fold less) in mobilizing intracellular calcium, as demonstrated in Xenopus oocyte injection studies. This compound is used in research to investigate specific InsP signaling pathways and receptor interactions in vitro.
