Dibutyl-3-Hydroxybutyl Phosphate

Dibutyl 3-hydroxybutyl phosphate is a metabolite of the organophosphorus solvent tributyl phosphate (TBP), formed via NADPH-dependent metabolism in goldfish liver microsomes and through radiolysis. This compound is used in environmental and toxicology research to study the in vitro and in vivo metabolic pathways and degradation products of organophosphate flame retardants and plasticizers.
