N-desmethyl Zolmitriptan

N-desmethyl Zolmitriptan (DZT) is the active primary metabolite of the antimigraine drug zolmitriptan. As a potent 5-HT1B receptor agonist (EC50 = 100 nM in human cerebral arteries), it is a valuable tool for in vitro pharmacological studies of vascular contraction and serotonin receptor function.
