Aspalatone
Aspalatone is a small molecule exhibiting antiplatelet activity (IC50 = 180 μM in vitro) and prolongs bleeding time in rodent thromboembolism models. At a dose of 24 mg/kg, it also demonstrates antioxidant and neuroprotective effects against kainic acid-induced excitotoxicity in the rat hippocampus, supporting research in cardiovascular and neurological diseases.
