6β-Prostaglandin I1

6β-PGI1 is a chemically stable analog of prostacyclin (PGI2) with a significantly extended half-life in aqueous solutions. While its receptor-mediated potency is substantially lower (~1% of PGI2), it serves as a valuable research tool for studying prolonged prostacyclin signaling in vitro, such as in adenylate cyclase assays, and for investigating vascular and platelet function.
